The world was always chaotic, what with wars, poverty, discrimination...but, it was a chaos that everyone understood. It seemed that just as everyone thought they had their mundane lives figured out, had gotten use to the chaos, use to how things were, is when everything chose to change.

"Sir! You have to look at this!" A man calls out, his voice slightly breaking as he spoke, was it from excitement? Disbelief? Or was it fear? Who could say, perhaps it was a mixture of all three. "What is it?" Another male responds, this one older, dressed in a wrinkled lab coat. He leaves from the station he had been working at, surrounded by others dressed in outfits similar to his own. He trudges over towards the male seated before a massive telescope. He steps aside as if to give way to the older gentleman. With a tired grunt the aged man hunches over, peering through the eyepiece. "This-!" Like the man before him, his voice too begins to crack. Through the lens of the telescope, beyond the clouds, beyond the Earth's sky and atmosphere into the boundless reaches of space were the stars. Among these stars was a new one, not one recorded among the constellations known to man. However, that wasn't what caught his attention, rather it wasn't the only thing that caught his attention. The aged man stepped away, "Give me a phone, NOW!"

A large phone is brought to the man who takes it, immediately dialing a number. He paces back and forth as it rings before finally a connection is made. "This is Professor Steelman. Yes, from the science department of the NSA. There's something you should see...somethin you should know." The voice on the other end speaks, their words heard only by Professor Steelman. "Understood, I'll bring everything necessary for the meeting." Hanging up the phone he gazes down at the telescope. Everything was changing, but rather it was a change for the better or worst was something yet to be determined.

A month later in the pentagon, locked inside a room with the president and the directors and heads of the FBI, CIA, NSA, Homeland Security, the Secret Service along with the heads of military, all gathered to hear a single man speak. Professor Steelman steps into the room, in his arms many papers and folders. "Professor Steelman, so good for you to finally join us." "Right, what is this all about?" The Professor steps to the opposite end of the table, the president leaning forward as he quietly awaits for the Professor's presentation. "A month ago, me and my team discovered something in the far reaches of space." He pushes the folders across the table, the papers spilling out revealing charts, graphs and pictures.
